Representatives of the main subjects of cybersecurity in Ukraine and workers of critical infrastructure will receive the skills of conducting a pentest within five days.
During the practical Bug Bounty training, cyber specialists will study methods for assessing the security of computer systems of critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine, the press service of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine reports.
On November 9, the Bug Bounty exercise, organized by the National Cyber Security Coordination Center under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine with the support of the US Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF Global), began in Kyiv. This was reported by the press service of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
“Representatives of the main subjects of cybersecurity of Ukraine and workers of critical infrastructure within
five days will receive the skills to conduct a penetration test of critical infrastructure facilities, create an integrated
protection system for such facilities and enhance their own technical capabilities,” the statement says.
According to the Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Serhiy Demedyuk, every day
new trends and new threats emerge in cyberspace, and Ukrainian specialists, together with foreign partners,
work together to respond to them in a timely manner and prevent them in the future.
“Such practical exercises are an integral part of improving the national cyber security system. The exchange of experience is the key to great joint achievements,” he added.
